Horse Creek Entertainment AB (publ) was founded in 1989. The Company has its core business in VoD, sales of DVDs and sales of movie rights of more than 1,000 titles in different windows (as theatrical, video, payTV and pay-per-view).

Some of the Company’s clients are TV4, Viasat, discshop.se, ginza.se and Music Service. Horse Creek has the biggest players in each distribution arm as loyal clients.

The current management bought the Company in 2003.

Business sectors
Horse Creek Entertainment AB (publ) has today three different divisions.

These are:

• HomeTV (video on demand thru streaming, VoD, Electronic Sell Through, EST)
• Sales of DVDs
• Sales of Film rights

The Management believes that entertainment on the internet has a big expansion potential and the expansion will be even bigger in the next few years.

This is caused by;

• increased access of broadband with good capacity;
• internet tv;
• increased interest in gambling;
• the gambling companies’ bigger marketing budgets
• expansion on internet as a new distribution arm for a wider range of services

Technology and quality
The movies are shown in the same quality as DVDs and with 5.1 sounds (one speaker in each corner + one in the middle + one base speaker). In other words with the best sound you will find in a theatre – or better.
Today the consumer can get the best technology and quality on the market by choosing to use www.hometv.se with broadband up to 3.0 Mbits compared with the best competitor providing 2.2 Mbits.

• Movies and concerts via Video On Demand (Streaming, rental video)
• From Q4 2008: Electronic Sell Through (legal down loading, retail video)

This technology will replace within two years to a big extent the rental market of DVDs. Electronic Sell through will mostly affect the retail sales of DVDs.
