HORSE CREEK ENTERTAINMENT AB (PUBL) SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH PARAMOUNT PICTURES AND DREAMWORKS

As the first actor on the Scandinavian market the Swedish company Horse Creek Entertainment AB (Publ) with its VoD brand HomeTV.se has signed a multi-year deal with Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks to bring the companies’ titles to consumers in Sweden and Norway through Video on Demand.

The deal gives HomeTV.se full access to Paramount and Dreamworks’ entire catalogue. In the near future viewers will be able to see blockbusters like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Iron Man, The Love Guru and the recent theatrically shown Cloverfield and The Spiderwick Chronicles on HomeTV.se´s Vod platform. Viewers can already see hit movies like Transformers, Blades of Glory, Shooter, Stardust and Reno 911 along with classics like Star Trek, Rosemary´s Baby, Chinatown among many other titles. HomeTV.se currently offers around 500 titles on VoD from various distributors. And the number continuously increases with new titles from Warner Bros., Scanbox Entertainment, Panvision and from Horse Creek Entertainments own library consisting of over 300 titles. HomeTV.se chairman of the board Charles Aperia says: ”Our agreement with Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks is of great importance to us since it makes us able to offer the best and the most versitile range of titles to our customers. As we are the first to launch these titles in Scandinavia it strengthens our position in the VoD market even further”. The first titles from Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks will be available on www.hometv.se for the Swedish and Norwegian markets as of 2008 05 23.
